It all started during COVID.
While everyone else was obsessed with making sourdough bread, Nick, our Master Vintner, wondered, “What can I make wine out of?” Turns out, a lot of things… like fruit. Like what grapes are (shocker). After his first batch of strawberry wine, he declared, “Shit, I want to make wine for a living.”
Within two years, we’d moved to 3 acres in the booming area of San Tan Valley/Queen Creek, and:
If you couldn’t tell, we’re not like other wineries in Arizona. We’re nowhere near the viticultural regions of the state. We don’t have a tasting room. And we don’t grow our own grapes (yet).
But we're determined. Eventually, the name “Sunbeat Cellars” will be known as one of the top wineries in Arizona. You can bet the farm on it – your farm, that is, not ours.
Hands off our farm.
We operate our entire winery by making smart water management choices that use and conserve water like our lives depend on it (because they do... and so do yours).
Wine is not what sommeliers tell you to drink. Wine is not what France said is “good” or not. Wine is not just for the elite. Wine is a universal drink enjoyed by all. The best wine is the wine you want to drink.
We hate when companies aren’t transparent about their business practices, so we don’t B.S. about ours. No frills, lies, drama, nothing. We’re not an episode of The Bachelor, after all.
We want to make something that we can physically put in people’s hands that makes them not only satisfied, but happy. Sure, the tech revolution is powerful, but not enough businesses MAKE things anymore. That's sad.
