Our Wines

Natural, low-intervention, low-sulfite, and made in Arizona. Yes, the bottles say California, but that's because it's a legal thing. (Trust us - we're just trying to make a living here.)

Here's what we have for your tasting pleasure:

This isn't your "typical" Merlot. It's light, bright, fruit-forward. And because we made it with an old French winemaking technique called bâtonnage (which is extended time with the yeast), it has a creamy finish and a medium body.

With hints of black fruits and even applesauce (?!), our Merlot also has some peppery notes. Like back-of-your-throat, slightly tingly pepper notes. It’s different and we’re all about it.

This Cabernet is definitely our most crushable bottle -- an easy sipper. Because it's not heavily oaked, it boasts smooth, consistent tannins alongside its darker flavors and medium body.

And don't miss this wine's wild sister: same grapes, same hillside, but a totally different character thanks to native yeast. Snag a bottle of both Cabernets so you can taste side-by-side and choose your favorite!

Got a wild side? So does this wine. That’s because some of our Cabernet grapes had signs of a natural yeast that we let ferment, as any natural winemaker should — a risk to be sure, but we hit the jackpot.

This Cabernet has a more complex profile than its "lab Cab" sibling made with winemaker's yeast, despite being from the exact same hillside grapes. Some people say it reminds them of a Pinot Noir with its herbal- and citrus-forward notes.

  • Delicious wines!

After trying all of their offerings, our absolute favorites have been the two different cabernets. The wild ferment was the one that really stood out. Try them — you won’t be disappointed!

  • As good as a Daou Reserve...

… but for half the price.

  • I absolutely love Sunbeat Cellars.

My wife met Nick and Bree at a farmers market, bought a bottle of their Cabernet Sauvignon. We liked it so much we scheduled a tasting at their Cellars located in San Tan Valley and bought a case of wine. Nick talked us through the process of making wine and how he got started in the business. Sunbeat Cellars is a grassroots, locally-owned business that makes great wine and definitely worth giving a try.

  • I highly recommend checking them out.

We dropped by Sunbeat Cellars, not realizing they usually do tastings / tours by appointment only. We gave them a call, and Nick, the owner/winemaker, was cool enough to show us around. He knows his stuff, super passionate about the wine and the process. The wines were excellent, and the tour was really interesting.
